“Education is the cornerstone of the Caribbean civilisation, and I will explore the role it has played in the socio-economic development of our region. “The College hosts the lecture series to celebrate the life’s work of our beloved founding principal – Dr Alister Francis so we invite some of the leading thinkers of the region to share their thoughts on education in a socio-economic and cultural context. The lectures are also in keeping with the College’s motto: ‘Per Doctrinam Potens’ – ‘Empowerment through education,” Principal Hyram Forde said.
