Two Charged in Barbuda Break-in

On Saturday, police jointly charged 35yr-old Keithley Deazle and 39yr-old Morris Deazle both of Barbuda with Break-in and Larceny. Both men are accused of breaking into the home of Trevor Walker of Barbuda on 2nd November and stole a pack Duracell Batteries, a flash light, a pack of light bulbs and an undisclosed sum of money. Morris Deazle was further charged for allegedly Receiving a quantity of EC coins and batteries knowing them to have been stolen. They are expected to appear before the Court (Today) Monday.

Three people, in two separate incidents were arrested on suspicion of Money Laundering by the police, and are in custody assisting the police with their investigations. 62yr-old Molly Gabriel and her 42yr-old son Hilroy Hurst both of Cashew Hill, were jointly charged by the police on Saturday with Possession of 79 grams of Cannabis, Possession with intent to transfer and Being concerned in the supplying of Cannabis. Jari Jackson of Cooks New Extension was convicted and fined $17,500 in the St. Johns Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
