Coroner’s Inquest Ruled Phillip’s Death an Accident

A Coroner’s Inquest on Tuesday, concluded by ruling Oniqua “Nikki” Phillip’s death was an accident. Magistrate Conliff Clarke convened the hearing in St. Johns Magistrate’s Court with a six member jury panel to look into her death. During the hearing, a number of witnesses; to include police officers were called upon to give evidence into the matter. EMS Successfully Execute Daring Rescue Operation Between Wallings Dam and Rendezvous Beach

In what has been described as nothing short of brilliant, the Antigua and Barbuda Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Fire Brigade performed a daring rescue operation in the hills between Wallings Dam and Rendezvous Beach on Sunday. Two men perished in fire, when the vehicle they were travelling in burst into flames on Old Parham Road, following a traffic collision on Sunday. Vacationing US Citizen Drowns at Galley Bay

The Police are currently conducting investigations into a possible drowning of a US Citizen, which took place at Galley Bay on Sunday. Ryan James Vollmer of the United States, who was a guest at the Galley Bay Hotel, apparently had just returned to the hotel from an outing around 9:30 pm, and decided to go for a swim. The police are reporting that a 15 year old Hodges Bay youth lost his life in the country’s 6th road fatality, which occurred on Thursday (20th October, 2016) on Friars Hill Road. Swetes Woman Charged in Fatal Accident

The driver of the vehicle involved in Wednesday’s fatal accident, which claimed the life of 23yrs-old Xavier King of Swetes, has now been charged.
