Antigua and Barbuda Bulldogs Depart to Suriname

OMonday 18th, the National Senior Men’s Basketball Team, ‘Antigua and Barbuda Bulldogs’ departed to participate in the upcoming FIBA 2021 Men’s Pre Qualifier Tournament from June 24th to June 30th.

Prior to their departure, a Press Briefing was held at the Digicel Head Office where the Minister of Sports, Culture, National Festivals and the Arts, Honourable Daryll Matthew; Cliff Williams, General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee, and President of ABBA, Carltron Brodie delivered remarks and words of encouragement to the team. 

The final squad comprises of Bryan ‘Hollywood’ Matthew, Mario ‘Axel’ Davis, Kareem ‘Macky’ Edwards, Vivian ‘Boast’ Destin , Clinton “Scare-Dem’ Joshua, Kareem Xavier ‘X-Man’ Meade, Lennox ‘Termite’ McCoy, Kenroy ‘Chicken’ Telemaque, Ernest Scott, Adonis Humphreys, Kwame Braithwaite, Selassie  Braithwaite, and Cohen Desouza.

Head Coach of the Bulldogs, John Spezia, leads the delegation, alongside Jay Harrington and Cedric “Supa” David, Assistant Coaches; Keston Daley, Physiotherapist; Team Manager, Aldo McCoy, and Equipment Manager, Marlon “Buju” Charles.
