Football Against Obesity Kick off

First form students will this term engage in a six-week programme, aimed at promoting physical activity and wellness. The programme which is dubbed Football Against Obesity will be launched in Antigua and Barbuda on September 17th. The secondary school-based programme targeting eleven to twelve-year-olds, their physical education teachers and coaches will include classroom discussions, and physical and recreational exercises relating to football. Sandals Foundation Helps to Rebuild Barbuda School

The Holy Trinity Primary School in Barbuda is currently undergoing full renovation woks with the generous support of the Sandals Foundation, which had committed to sustained recovery support to the hurricane ravished island. All three schools in Barbuda were damaged by Hurricane Irma last September. As a result, most of the children from the sister-isle were transferred to educational facilities in Antigua.
