NODS Producers Preliminary Barbuda Report

The National Office of Disaster Services has issued a “preliminary report on Barbuda Hurricane Irma finances” today. The report details a list of both income from donations and government injection along with the expenses associated with the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. According to the report just over 22 million dollars account for total resources. While approximately 21 million spent on expenses. The preliminary report is said to be an account of spending relating to Barbuda following Hurricane Irma, ending April 30.

Antigua and Barbuda is the first Caribbean country and the third nation in the Western Hemisphere to ratify the Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Forms of Intolerance.
