35 year old man Charged with Larceny after stealing a Quantity of Alcohol and Cigarettes

On Friday, Police arrested and charged 35 year old Jermaine Julian, aka “Trupa” of St Johnston’s Village with Break-In and Larceny. He is accused of breaking into Beach Limerz Bar and Restaurant at Fort James Beach and stealing a quantity of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and cigarettes. He is further accused of stealing a quantity of coins, several pieces of electronic items, among other things. The alleged incident occurred between March 15th and 16th, 2018. He is expected before the Court sometime next week.

Major Drug Bust at Airport

Police made another major drugs Seizure at the V.C Bird International Airport on Friday. Sniffer dogs came across a blue barrel inside the Customs Bonded Warehouse and alerted their handlers. The barrel was searched and seven tightly wrapped packages of Cannabis, weighing 109 pounds were found concealed inside. The shipment arrived from the United States aboard an Amerijet Cargo Airline. The class-B drugs, which carries an estimated wholesale value of $437,000 were seized and taken to Police Headquarters pending further investigations.
