Briggins Man Fined on Gun & Ammunition Charges

Makieva Otto, 21 of Briggins has to pay a fine of $5,500 forthwith, in order not to spend a year inside Her Majesty’s Prison. He appeared before Chief Magistrate Walsh in St. John’s Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, charged with possession of a modified flare gun and possession of two 9mm rounds of ammunition.
