Man, 27, Murdered on Popeshead Street, Death Toll Now 19

Police are investigating the death of 27-year-old Andre Cummings Jr who was gunned down around 1:50am today on Popeshead street. Details on the incident are still sketchy at this time, however reports suggest that the man’s killers drove up the popular bar he was at, exited a vehicle and shot him to death before leaving in the same vehicle. His death brings the murder toll to 19 so far for 2017. Just last week, Babu Jardine was murdered in a drive by shooting in Villa. Investigations continue into both matters….

$35K Fine for St. Johnston’s Village Man on Weed, Possession Charge

Jalani Constant of St. Johnston Village was ordered to pay a fine of $35,000 or serve two years in prison, when he appeared at St. Johns Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
