Liberta Police Station to Re-open in One Week

Acting Commissioner of Police, Wendel Robinson, has announced that the Liberta Police Station is scheduled to be re-opened to the general public on the 25th June, 2015.

The station, which was forced to close its doors for purposes of undergoing well warranted renovations, is now in the final stages of receiving its facelift.

The renovation process was initiated after the police administration identified the need for a safer structure to serve both officers posted at this station and residents who will attend the station for police assistance.

The Commissioner continues to extend heartfelt gratitude to the residents of Liberta and surrounding villages within the district, for their patience in coping with the unavoidable process, as well as the Department of Public Works and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda for a timely response to the station’s restoration process.
