Ambassador-designate of Antigua and Barbuda to the Holy See, His Excellency Sir David Shoul, will present Letters of Credence to the Holy Father, His Holiness, Pope Francis on the 16th May,

Antigua & Barbuda has been selected as the pilot country for an Open Data Readiness Assessment (ODRA) which, it is hoped, will be adapted and replicated regionally.

Ms. Shawn Marisa Nicholas has been recommended for appointment as a Senator in the Upper House of Parliament, filling the vacancy created by the revocation of the Instrument of Appointment of Senator Elmore Charles a few months ago. A few short days after being admitted to hospital and connected to a life-support machine, Vere C. Bird Jr. has died. He was 76-years-old and a former ALP Government Minister and member of parliament between 1984-2004.
