Chrissy! The First Caribbean Family Film will be released in Antigua on April 18th, 2013 at Caribbean Cinemas

CHRISSY! a production from the Makers of the HUSH series, is an inspirational film for the entire family premiered in England, Canada, Jamaica  and Barbados.  Chrissy! is currently having a successful 15 weeks run in the Olympus Cinemas in Barbados.

Second International Film Festival Opens Sunday

With international stars like Mekhi Phifer, Omar Benson and others set to be in, the second annual International Film Festival of Antigua and Barbuda (IFFAB) is poised to get underway tomorrow, Sunday November 18.

Black-tie Gala for "King Short Shirt"

As part of the ongoing 50th Anniversary Celebrations for Sir McLean “King Short Shirt” Emanuel, the 50th Anniversary Committee on Saturday, June 16, 2012, under the theme, “We Are The Ones” will host a “Black-tie” gala at Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa, where Sir McLean’s peers will gather to pay tribute to him, for his tremendous contribution to Antigua and Barbuda’s development, particularly in the Tourism and Entertainment industries.

As part of the activities recognizing the 16 Days Of Activism, The Directorate of Gender Affairs in partnership with August Rush Productions and Deluxe Theatre, will be conducting a local screening of Miss Representation on Tuesday 6th December at Deluxe, High Street, at 7:00 pm.

“Why?” you ask. Ashton Kutcher!!!

Ashton Kutcher teams up with Natalie Portman in this amazing Romance Comedy film. The two are best friends who have decided to begin a casual fling. They both think that each one is capable of handling any emotional baggage that may came along. But this casual fling tends to get the both of them and the battle begins as each one fights their emotions waiting to see who will crumble first.

Colin Farrell stars in this drama film where a small band of multicultural convicts stages a daring escape from World War I- era called The Way Back. The five young men journey through the midst of physical hardships and endure a series of violent trials.

The Company Men and The Housemaid will also be showing this weekend. Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner along with Tommy Lee Jones will be featuring in The Company Men. This drama depicts the misery of unemployment after living the sweet American Dream. The Housemaid, also a drama, unfolds the story of an innocent Asian domestic servant girl caught up in the deceit of the family who employed her.

To those, who are yet to visit, don’t forget to look out for The Dilemma starring Vince Vaughn and Kevin James and others and The Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz, and Christopher Waltz.

Guess Who took home the Globe

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Award was electrifying as always. The attendees and nominees all beautifully dressed dazzled the red carpet with new designs and unique fashions. The movies of 2010 were all incredible and picking a winner out of stunning talents and creativity were difficult. The winners of the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards were all deserving.

Box Office Preview: Most green going to 'Hornet'

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The movie business has suffered a down streak at the box office for nine straight weeks but the unlikeliest of super heroes will attempt to save the day this holiday weekend as Seth Rogen stars in the big-screen version of "The Green Hornet." Industry buzz has the Sony/Screen Gems 3-D thriller opening on top in the high $30 million range through Sunday night.
