Steering Committee Named for Slum Upgrade Program

The Participatory Slum Upgrade Program National Steering Committee (PSUP NSC) was commissioned this month. Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Housing and the Environment Hilson Baptiste, after a brief introduction and synopsis on the UN Habitat’s involvement in slum upgrades worldwide and his expectations of the National Steering Committee, presented each member with their instruments of appointment. Minister Baptiste also reiterated his full commitment to the PSUP NSC.
