Lovell, Stakeholders Talk Social Security

Stakeholders, namely representatives from the Chamber of Commerce, Employers’ Federation and the Trade Union Congress, and Ministry of Finance officials, including Minister Harold Lovell and Director of Social Security David Matthias, will continue their dialogue on the way forward for Social Security in mid June.

Technocrats of the Ministry of Finance & the Economy on Thursday delivered a series of stern warnings to the people of Antigua & Barbuda. Financial Secretary Whitfield Harris Jr, Deputy Financial Secretary Rasona Davis and Debt Unit Manager Nadia Spencer-Henry all warned the nation of the need to “return to fundamentals” in the management of our financial and economic resources.
