Three Police Officers Charged

The Police on Friday arrested and charged three members of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda with several indictable offences. Two constables, residing at Grays Farm and Potters respectively, were jointly charged with Causing Grievous Bodily Harm to an Upper Fort Road man on June 17th.

Similarly, a Corporal of Police was also charged with committing offences under the Sexual Offences Act which occurred 30th June.

Enlight of the recent developments, the Acting Commissioner of Police Mr. Henry Christian, wishes to reassure the general public of the Police Administration commitment to this nation, in ensuring Law and Order is maintained.

He further stated, that we as police officers are called upon to uphold the law, and any member of this organization who breeches the law, will be dealt with accordingly.

The general public is therefore encouraged to continue lend their full support to the police Force as we strive to provide a high quality of service to the  citizens and residents  of Antigua and Barbuda.
