The Police have arrested and charged four men in connection with the larceny of a Toyota Corolla Motor Car (A20719), the property of a 34-year-old woman of Belmont. One of those charged is a member of the local police force.
Charged are Dominican nationals 30-years-old Cardyan Harper and 34-years-old Kelvin Jones, residing in Grays Farm and Yorks Village respectively.
Also charged are 24-years-old Dwayne Gordon, a member of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, residing in Martin’s Village.
The men were all arrested and charged with alleged theft of the vehicle sometime between April 26 and 27, from outside the owner’s home in Belmont.
A fourth man, 32-years-old Eon Saeuers of Guyana, residing in Grays Farm was also charged for allegedly receiving stole vehicular parts.
They are due to appear before the court on (today) Wednesday.
DRUG CHARGES
Meanwhile, the Police have arrested and charged 27-years-old Lloyd Anthony Jones of Jamaica with Possession of 20.75lbs of cannabis, Importation, and Possession with intent to transfer.
He was also jointly charged along with 27 years old Kemar Shellrock Francis, also of Jamaica with Conspiracy to Import 20.75lbs of Cannabis into the country. These offences occurred at the V.C. Bird International Airport on Sunday around 10:30pm.
