However, Adams says that an arrangement was made between the Honorable Prime Minister, the Hon. Minister of Finance and the Accountant General, whereby $200, 000 dollars have been received for disbursement.

The participants of the 2011 Calypso Monarch Competition will receive an amount totaling $105, 630 and the participants of the 2011 Junior Calypso Monarch Competition will receive $15, 300.

Minister Adams says in addition, a total of $22, 500 has been disbursed to some of the Senior and Junior Mas Bands as 2011 prize monies. Additional payments will be made to other stakeholders later this week.

According to Adams, the Honorable Minister of Finance Harold Lovell has further advised him, that Carnival will receive weekly allocations of $100, 000 and $200, 000 to clear off 2011 indebtedness to stakeholders.

Subsequent fulfilling the financial obligations to stakeholders, attention will be paid to making payments to service providers.
